Hello to all our motorbike adventurers! We can't wait to greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu and take you to the amazing accommodations we have arranged. Once all our riders have arrived, our guide will organize a small briefing program to explain the exciting itinerary. Then, we will all go together to get to know our trusty steeds—the classic Royal Enfields. Our mechanic will give a thorough check-up of the bikes before we set out for a small test ride to familiarize you with the traffic and roads of Nepal.
After an early breakfast, we will set off on our ride out of the chaotic traffic of Kathmandu. The cobbled Prithvi Highway will carry us forward towards our first stop at Trishuli Market. We will then head along the same highway until we are at Mugling. Following the new Mugling-Narayanghat Highway, we will arrive at the mesmerizing small town of Bandipur, where we can take a moment to visit the downtown area. We will continue further and finally reach Pokhara, a beautiful city facing Phewa Lake and the magnanimous snowy peaks of the Himalayas.
With the only company of the humming of our engines, we will set forth along the concrete Highway of Baglung. After we press on for a few miles, we will arrive at the delightful little town of Kushma, known for the second-highest bungee jumping cliff in the world. Resuming our ride, we will arrive at the lovely town of Beni for lunch. The real off-road adventure now begins. We are now beside the massive current of the Kali Gandaki waters. The rising track will become narrower and narrower, and finally, here we are at Tatopani, where we can take a soothing bath in the natural hot springs.
Our ride today will be short, yet the elevation gain will be the highest of our entire tour. We will ascend nearly 1,700m by the time we reach Ghorepani. After we wave farewell to Tatopani, we will ride along a gently sloping dirt path. The trail is quite easier, offering mind-blowing, postcard-like vistas. We will keep on riding higher towards the Ghara hamlet for lunch. Thankfully, we are now prepared to overcome the ever-ascending track that will lead us to Shikha Village. After conquering the lengthy, rocky route, we will finally reach the enchanting Ghorepani, where the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges will be waiting to greet us.
At the alarm call of around 5 am, we will rise and venture towards the epic journey of Poon Hill. A 2 km long gentle ascent will take us to the series of stone stairs that lead to the top of the viewpoint. The blue ice silhouettes of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges will appear one after another. Now that we have seen the magnificent sights, we will return to our lodge for breakfast. It is now time to prepare to ride back to the magical paradise of Pokhara. At first, the track will lead us gently downhill, and we will press on towards the city where we will spend a tranquil evening by the shore of Phewa Lake.
The moment has come for us to journey back to Kathmandu. We will travel once more along the scenic Mugling-Narayanghat Highway and Prithvi Highway, greeted again by the delightful sights of Bandipur and Trishuli. In Kathmandu, we will return our reliable rides and come together for a farewell dinner with our fellow adventurers, sharing stories and reliving the remarkable journey we have undertaken together.
With your flight time in mind, our staff will come to pick you up and drop you off at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) three hours preceding your departure time. Do not forget to keep us in mind, as we have countless tours and trekking adventures in various landscapes of Nepal. We wish you a safe journey home.
Join us on this spectacular 7-day motorbike adventure through the beautiful landscapes of the Annapurna region.
