We invite you to join our uniquely crafted Manang Mustang Motorbike Tour, an incredible on-road and off-road motorcycle odyssey that promises not to disappoint at any point. This is an adventure designed for those who feel the constant urge to deviate from the main path, to go off-road and discover a world that only a tiny fraction of people ever get to experience in their entire lives.
This is more than just a motorcycle tour; it is a pilgrimage into the heart of the Himalayas, a journey that combines the raw thrill of off-road adventure with a profound sense of spiritual connection. Our carefully designed route cuts through the diverse and stunning landscapes of the legendary Annapurna Circuit, taking you first into the high, arid, and culturally rich Manang Valley. The adventure then continues, leading you on the beautiful and spiritual road into the Lower Mustang region, a ride that takes place between the massive, icy walls of some of the world's most gorgeous Himalayan peaks, including the Annapurna massif, the colossal Dhaulagiri, and the iconic Machhapuchhare (Fishtail).
If you are looking for a journey with purpose, a spiritual connection, and the pure pleasure of riding through landscapes full of history and symbolism, then trust us, the Manang Mustang tour is made for you. On this stunning itinerary, you will be in the saddle of a tough and reliable off-road machine, a Royal Enfield Himalayan or a Honda CRF, both known for their strength and capability on long-distance journeys.
Your adventure begins as you discover the diverse landscapes on the ride from Jagat up to the ancient village of Manang. Here, you will experience a standout moment of peace and tranquility on the shores of the beautiful Gangapurna Glacial Lake, which rests under the impressive shadow of its namesake peak. Along this route, you will also experience the warm welcome of the Gurung and Manangi communities, getting a rare glimpse into their time-honored Tibetan Buddhist heritage.
From the high deserts of Manang, your path will then take you to the stunning paradise of Pokhara, where the peaceful Phewa Lake awaits. This is the perfect place to relax with a drink after several thrilling yet tiring days of high-altitude riding. The adventure then elevates once more as you ride towards the Lower Mustang, passing through Kushma and the world's deepest gorge. You will explore the charming Thakali towns of Marpha and Kagbeni on your way to the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath.
After a profound spiritual experience, your return journey to Kathmandu will include a special detour to the timeless, beautifully preserved Newari town of Bandipur. Throughout this entire tour, we have chosen the quieter roads that pass through the Annapurna Conservation Area, offering both tranquility and constantly stunning scenery. This is a motorcycle tour that requires skill and a touch of finesse, but for any rider with some experience, this is an opportunity to complete a distinct and unforgettable Himalayan journey in just ten days.
Your 10‑day Manang Mustang Motorbike Tour takes you across two iconic Himalayan regions—off‑road ascents into the Manang Valley and cultural riding through Lower Mustang with the Kali Gandaki Gorge and Muktinath. Each day is carefully planned to maximize adventure while ensuring safety and cultural immersion.
Upon your arrival at TIA, you will be met by one of our friendly representatives and taken to your selected hotel. Later, our driver-guide will offer you a briefing on the tour. Then, together, you will set out to assemble your motorcycle and take a sample test ride through the narrow and broad streets of Kathmandu. You can then enjoy a drink in a bar and ensure you are well-rested for your first day on the road tomorrow.
Preparing our rides early in the morning, we will navigate out of Kathmandu via Thankot. The urban road of the Prithvi Highway will soon take us to the vast hilly market of Trishuli. From here on, the rural route of Nepal begins beside the rolling hills, taking us through the mesmerizing village towns of Dumre and Besisahar. The easy dirt road of Lamjung will then drive you through the beautiful little settlements of Khudi and Bhulbhule before we see Jagat.
Today is a journey of transitioning from the green, hilly terrain of Jagat to the desert landscape of Manang. The ride now leads through a stunning ascending trail towards the village of Tal. The rugged mountain trail will lead steeply upward through Karte and then Dharapani. The road continues to become more rugged and rough, elevating through Bagarchhap and Timang, with intense snowy profiles of Lamjung Himal and Manaslu. A 100m long mounting track will now take us further to Koto and then Chame. We are deeper inside the Himalayan terrain of the Manang Valley.
We have planned an early morning excursion on foot to the amazingly beautiful high glacial lake in Manang called Gangapurna. It has been lying for centuries just beneath the colossal giant of Gangapurna Peak. On its turquoise waters, we can see the reflection of the hanging Gangapurna glacier. After a few hours of exquisite glacial experience, we will return to our rides and continue back towards Besisahar. All the well-known villages and scenery that we have encountered on our journey to Manang will greet us again.
We have a short riding time planned for today, focusing on more rest and touring activity. After a bed and breakfast at Besisahar, the rustic yet inviting mountain road will lead through Dumre to Pokhara via the Prithvi Highway. After settling in, a charming tour around the peaceful waters of Lake Phewa will call us. A boat ride over its soothing waters will be a warm welcome for our tired bodies.
Today, get ready to mount your motorbike and tour through the typical landscape of the Nepalese mountains along the Baglung Highway. Soon, Kushma Village will be a delight to see, known for its longest hanging bridge. Revving our engines again, we will drive towards Beni. The rugged scenery will welcome us once again. After a smooth 80 km ride, the trail will be rocky, which will elevate above the Kali Gandaki River. It will start to tighten until we are at Tatopani. Our ascending drive will resume again, uplifting us to Ghasa Village and then to Kalopani.
The time to reach the highest altitude of our tour has arrived. From Kalopani, the Beni-Jomsom Highway will take us through Tukuche. The Kali Gandaki corridor will join the highway and take us further through Marpha, Jomsom, and Kagbeni. At Kagbeni, we will pause our engine hums and visit the revered Buddhist Monastery. Muktinath is not too far away, a highly valued pilgrimage site. We will tour this illustrious temple before preparing to get to Tatopani. A little stop at Marpha to taste the apple wine will be great. Tukuche, Lete, and Ghasa will then show us our road towards Tatopani.
From today, we will be bringing a conclusion to our 10-day adventure. Trying to capture as much of the Nepali mountainous atmosphere, we will drive through Beni, Kushma, and Dumre to reach Pokhara. The highway road will then turn to Bandipur, the old, time-honored Newari town rich with red-bricked pathways, empty of the clamor of traffic and horns. From this high, hilly town, we can stare at the heavenly sights of Gorkha in the east and Chitwan in the south.
We have plenty of time to start the journey to Kathmandu after a hearty breakfast. Reminiscing along the way about our wonderful tour, we will welcome the Prithvi Highway to ride us through Aanbu Khaireni and Galchi. The Tribhuvan Highway will then be our guide, taking us back to the chaos of Kathmandu. In the evening, we will gather for a final farewell dinner.
Based on your flight timing, if you have sufficient time, you can enjoy some of the charming experiences in Kathmandu. Then, our friendly representative will once again guide you to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), bringing our Manang Mustang motorbike tour to a close.
Join us on this spectacular 10‑day motorbike adventure across Manang and Mustang. Experience the world's deepest gorge, glacial Gangapurna Lake, ancient monasteries, and the sacred pilgrimage site of Muktinath—riding purpose‑built machines through the heart of the Himalayas.
